Smart Living for the new generation
My team and I spent 20 weeks building and designing Sage, an innovative smart home ecosystem designed to help Gen Z and Millennial long-term renters transform any apartment into a warm, inviting home. At its heart is Sage, an intelligent hub and elegant mirror compatible with the Matter protocol, seamlessly integrating with other smart devices.
The ecosystem includes ten versatile devices, each easy to set up and transfer, making it ideal for renters who frequently move but want to feel at home wherever they are. Designed with the next generation of renters in mind, Sage combines beautiful design, empathetic purpose, and cutting-edge technology to create a cohesive, adaptive smart home experience that will remain relevant for the next decade and beyond.

Our smart home ecosystem is powered by Wisp and Sage. Wisp acts as an WiFi extender and prioritizes active devices, maximizing speed and efficiency within your home. Never worry about Wisp being drained with its elegant charging pad.
A Fresh Home
Wisp acts as an air purifier, combating air pollution to keep your home clean. Additionally, Wisp keeps you in the know by monitoring the air quality.
Scent Science
Aromatherapy activates the mind in powerful ways. Using data from clinical studies, we selected four scent modes to modulate the activities of different brain waves, creating new possibilities.
Tabs
We keep tabs on your food so you don’t have to.
pH Monitoring Food Storage
Tabs is your accountability bud. Using electrolyzed pH monitoring, Tabs can tell you how many days until your food goes bad. Tabs generates recipes based on the contents of your fridge, ensuring nothing goes to waste.
A Bird’s Eye View
Revolutionize your fridge with Tab’s monitor that mounts to any upright surface. At a quick glance, you’ll know the inventory of your fridge, pantry, or both. Tabs will take the guesswork out of cooking and groceries by prioritizing what food is going to spoil first. Join us in a world of less food waste and happier appetites for you and everyone else in your home.

Our food storage solutions go beyond the kitchen by curating personalized recipes based on the ingredients you already have in your fridge. Take us to the store, and you’ll never be left wondering what’s in your kitchen or what you forgot on the list.
Lull
Lull provides a safe haven for sleep. Restless nights will no longer be an issue with custom sleep scheduling, ambient lighting, and automatic temperature adjustment. We know sleep is the foundation of health, so we are here to guarantee a better version of it.
Relax with Soundscapes
Lull offers a variety of sound explorations for a custom wake up and wind down schedule. Go to sleep with the cadence of ocean waves or interstellar rhythms, and wake up to the energizing song of rainforest creatures and bird song.
Ambient Lighting
With daylight scheduling, Lull uses warm light to encourage sleep and blue light to reduce wakeup grogginess.
Sleep Tracking
Lull uses movement and sound detection to track your sleep cycle, allowing you to monitor your sleep health and work toward your custom sleep goals.
Understanding the timing, duration, and quality of your sleep empowers you to work towards sustainable habits and identify your sleep inhibitors, leading to new outcomes.

Transform your shower. You deserve to feel luxury at every step of the day. Flow recalls your temperature preferences, allowing you to take a deep breath before entering a waterfall of zen.

Flow saves your preferred shower temperature based on a preset set by you or simply by averaging the temperature of your previous showers.
Multiple housemates? Don’t fret. Flow makes it easy for everyone with profiles recalled by said name, prioritizing each person’s needs.

Explore New Recipes
Dice works with Tabs to mitigate food waste in your kitchen and discover new recipes. Based on the curated recipes Tabs generates, Dice makes each recipe approachable with step-by-step instructions. Dice also provides prep and cook time estimations, along with adjustable serving sizes.
Master Your Cooking Skills
Dice is unlike any knife stand you’ve ever seen. With a built in short throw projector, Dice guides you through beginner knife skills and diagrams any unfamiliar knife cuts. Additionally, Dice provides projections for ingredient measurements, taking the guesswork out of portion control.

Dip is a portable ,renter-friendly spa solution for any bathroom. We know the perfect spa day isn’t complete without bath salts infused with essential oils and consistent water temperature, so that’s exactly what Dip does.

With a simple dial turn on each side, Dip adjusts the water pressure speed. Kick back and relax, it’s a perfect bubble bath everytime.
Industry Night
As the final step of our capstone project Sage, we set up the ecosystem in a cozy house to showcase the products in their natural environment. This setup allowed us to present the full range of devices and their functionalities, demonstrating how they transform any living space into a warm, inviting home.

Cook with Confidence
Simmer isn’t just an adaptive stovetop that aesthetically elevates your kitchen; it’s a stovetop with exact temperatures for each burner, down to the degree. Don’t be intimidated, though. Simmer is for all levels of cooking, with common temperature modes provided on such as warm, low, medium, and high, alongside a temperature readout displayed on each dial.
We have your safety in mind. Simmer’s weight sensors identify the circumference of cookware and are by pushing down on any dial. Never leave the house worried because our app ensures everything is turned off even when you are away
